The VTrak Expansion Chassis populated with sixteen 2TB 7200-rpm SATA
drives (32TB raw capacity) provides expanded storage and performance to
the VTrak E-Class RAID Subsystem. Promise VTrak E-class RAID subsystems
offer flexible configurations including using multiple RAID levels and
array groups in the base unit and expansion chassis. Fully redundant
I/O modules, power supplies, and cooling units ensure data availability
for maximum uptime.
The VTrak Expansion Chassis expands the
capacity of a VTrak E-Class RAID subsystem while providing the same
reliability and performance of the drives in the RAID subsystem unit.
Fully redundant I/O modules, power supplies, and cooling units,
combined with a cable-less internal system design provide exceptional
data availability even during component failures.
