Hardware Encryption Protection

The LaCie Rugged Safe secures your data with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) 128-bit hardware encryption, rendering the drive impenetrable even if it is removed from its enclosure. Thanks to this technology ratified by the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), you can transfer and transport your sensitive data with no concerns for unauthorized access or intellectual property theft.
